Background: Cervical cancer ranks as the 13th most frequent cancer among women in Egypt and the10th most frequent cancer among women between 15 and 44 years of age. Aim: Was to assess the cervical cancer awareness among women attending gynecological clinic at Beni-Suif university hospital. Design: A descriptive, exploratory design was addopted to achieve the aim of the study. Setting: The study was conducted in gynecological obstetrics outpatient clinic of Beni-Suif University hospital, Egypt. Sample: A Convenient sample of total 300 women were recruited in the current study according to certain inclusion criteria. Tools: Data were collected using: 1) Structured Interviewing tool 2) Cervical Cancer Awareness Measure (Cervical CAM) Toolkit. Results: (94.7%) were unaware with the warning signs of cervical cancer, (92.7%) responded incorrectly regarding to the age that most likely women develop the cervical cancer, (94%) were unaware regarding to the risk factors of cervical cancer, (98.3%) of the women were unaware about the vaccination program for cervical cancer in Egypt, while (98%) of them were unaware about the availability of screening program
