In orthodontic treatment prescription selection affects tip and torque of each individual tooth particularly anterior teeth. Till the current day no robust recommendations regarding one prescription or technique over the other prevails due to defective study designs. In this randomized controlled trial 20 patients were recruited, randomized, concealed then allocated 2 treatment groups in a parallel monocentric design with 1:1 allocation... 10 participants received mbt prescription while the other 10 participants received Roth prescription. Participants were blinded allocated to intervention according to randomization results guided by computerized random number generator , assessors were blinded, and operator was blinded till moment of intervention .this study was conducted in the outpatient clinic at faculty of dentistry, department of orthodontics and Dentofacial orthopedics at Cairo University educational hospital. Participants were of class I malocclusions, medically free with full permanent dentition sets, along mild {u2013} moderate crowding that underwent non extraction orthodontic treatment. Slot size 0.018x0.022 inch stainless steel has been chosen for both groups in aim of reducing treatment time and faster prescription expression. Brackets were directly bonded according to MBT bracket placement charts
