Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Graduate studies for Statistical Research - Department of Statical Quality Control and Quality Assurance Summary: The world has seen and industrial society in the last decade of the last century, the emergence and use of methods and methodologies modern urges the development and continuous improvement as well as increased awareness and knowledge among workers and reduce the losses of all kinds in order to develop the product and reduce the resources used and thus the yield increase the level of product quality and reduce re-Reformed effective and losses and then increase production capacity and also increase profits and the ability to continue and the strong competition in the global openness and threats from all sides. And most important of these techniques and methodologies are Six Sigma. This concept has emerged in the U.S. Motorola, Inc. at the beginning of the eighties of the last century, and achieved wide spread and major international companies began adopting and applying it within their institutions. The both the Allied Signal & General Electric , Johnson & Johnson among the best known companies in the world rely on the concept of Six Sigma for improvement and development, and reduce cost. Six Sigma approach is a statistical approach for analysis, based on the increasing of the statistical data collected to identify the shortcomings and defects in products or procedures.... Etc., to work on the processed permanently and try to reduce the proportion of errors and defects even up to 3.4 defect in a million chance and here the opportunity dealing with more than one meaning, for example million product has already produced (and this in the industrial field) or model has been codified in the bank, for example (This is in the field of services
