Background:Colon cancer incidence and mortality rates vary markedly around the world, globally it is the most frequent malignant disease of gastrointestinal tract, and the third most commonly diagnosed malignancy and the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the world, Aim and objectives: the aim of the study is to assess the correlation between clinico-pathological features of colon cancer with other available clinical and personal data and assess the correlation between immunohistochemical expression of PDL1 in tumor cells and in immune cells in micro environment of tumor together with the other clinic-pathological features of colon cancer, Subjects and methods: this was retrospective randomized controlled study was conducted on fifty cases diagnosed as cancer colon over a one year period from October 2017 to October 2018.The paraffin blocks were received from the Pathology department, Faculty of medicine, Cairo University, Kasr El Einy Hospital. The personal data (age and sex), clinical details and pathological data pertaining to these patients were retrieved from the medical records department of Kasr ELEiny Medical College Hospital, Results: the results of the study revealed that there was no statistical significant difference between PD-L1 in immune cells and other patient parameters as (sex ,tumor staging and metastasis), correlation between the existence of lymph vascular invasion (LVI) and immune reactive score(IRS) of PD-L1 in tumor cells among the studied group showed a statistically significant correlation, where cases with strong IRS for PD-L1 showed highest predilection for lymphovacular invasion
