Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Orthopedics Surgery
In the period 48 months, the study was conducted involving 18 patients (24 hips) with coxavara of diverse etiologies their average age was 5 years (range 3-8 years).For whom we performed Wagner trochanteric valgus osteotomy and were followed up in Abo El Reesh children's hospital and the Teacher`s hospital in Cairo, on coronal radiographs, The average improvement in HEA was from 68.8 degrees ranging(45-110 ) before surgery to 41 degrees ranging(25-85)after surgery, the NSA improved from 98 degrees ranging(65-120 ) preoperatively to 142 degrees ranging(105-155) postoperatively, and the HSA of 99 degrees ranging(65-120) preoperatively to 142.8 degrees ranging(110-160) postoperatively. Latest follow-up at a mean of 27 months ranging (4-48) after surgery
