The polyester fibres modified with different concentrations of nano materials such as bentonite nano-particles and SiO₂ nano-particles using different techniques such as pad-dry curing and IR PYROTIC³ service techniques. The effect of the nanomaterial{u2019}s on the physical and mechanical properties of the treated polyester fibres such as tensile strength, elongation%, thickness and moisture regain were studied. Topographical investigation of both BNPs and SiO₂NPs determined by using transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The surface morphology and surface chemical elements of the treated fibres, as well as untreated one, were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy and dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, respectively. Also, the FT-IR showed the presence of different nano-particles, thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) and UPF of the treated polyester fibres as well as the untreated one. The colour strength of dyed polyester fibres with both disperse and cationic dyestuffs as well as the fastness properties was evaluated and improved. Excellent results of the treated fibres toward physical and colouration properties were obtained. These studies of the treatment appeared the improvement of the polyester fibres
