Cervical radiculopathy is typically characterized as pain in the anatomic distribution of a single cervical nerve root. When surgical intervention is chosen, the posterior cervical foraminotomy and discectomy is a well-known traditional surgical technique with successful outcomes in patients with radicular pain due to laterally located herniated disc. Recentely, Minimal invasive posterior cervical foraminotomy (Microscopic assisted Tubular posterior foraminotomy) is better than traditional technique in minimizing Blood loss, post-operative hospital stay and post-operative neck pain with same outcome regarding brachialgia.objectives: comparison between Traditional and Minimally invasive posterior cervical foraminotomy in relieving arm pain, operative time blood loss, complications and post-operative muscle spasm and to assess which method is better
