Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Medicine - Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Summary: To determine Ultra-Sound findings of placenta previa and its association with amount of blood loss in patients with placenta previa .This study included 110 patients admitted from the out-patient clinic for elective cesarean section at Obstetrics/Gynecology department Maternity hospital Cairo University. Trans-vaginal ultrasound was done for all patients. ultrasound findings in form of placental lacunae and sponge like echoes data were collected and tabulated for correlation with the blood sample (Hemoglobin and Hematocrit) results taken from them before and after the delivery
