The study design was a double blinded randomized clinical trial as study participants and assessor didn{u2019}t know which intervention has been received. Fifty-two patients complaining from symptomatic irreversible pulpitis with symptomatic apical periodontitis in posterior maxillary and mandibular teeth were included
