Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Commerce - Department of Business Administration Summary: Internet and technology revolution achieved through the last decades, played a major role in affecting organizations' decisions and trends to own and adopt business- technology applications. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) working within this fast changed and developed business environment, trying to own and adopt electronic applications as e-commerce systems aiming to support their business status and gain the maximum benefits from this turbulent environment. MSMEs characterized as small (limited returns, limited employees) organizations that have special abilities for fast and easy coping with markets{u2019} changes, and they play an impressive and significant role to support their countries{u2019} economies. MSMEs adopting electronic applications and using Internet connection to extend their market reach and operational efficiency. Through the last 3 decades, organizations' attitudes toward adopting internet and electronic business applications noticed as one of the most targeted topics for research in both academic and practical bases. The gab of applying this kind of researches in developing economies was significantly recorded. E-commerce and MSMES are important topics that need further research efforts in developing countries generally (Tavengerwei, 2018) and in Egypt specifically, this is because of their importance in economies development in these countries and their roles as changers for the world economic map.This research conducted to identify the factors that affect MSMEs{u2019} decision to adopt e-commerce systems focusing on MSMEs working in the ICT sector in Egypt.
