Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Agriculture- Department of Agronomy
Peanut can be grown success fully in newly reclaimed sandy soil. Although, it increased growing in area Nile valley and considered as good way to improve the yield quality. Egypt surfers from scarcity and rise in prices of chemical fertilizers (NPK), as well as, the over does of NPK fertilizers lead to increase of environmental pollution of soil and water), law quality the oil in the peanut seeds and lack of productivity. This study was carried out at Orabi Association Farm, Ismailia high way, Egypt during two successive seasons (2017 and 2018) to evaluate using drinking water purification residuals, P and K Natural rocks and biofertilizers on yield and quality of (NC) peanut in newly reclaimed soil and determined the best treatment give high yield and quality. The experimental design laid out in a Randomized Complete Blocks Design arrangement with three replications according to Gomez and Gomez (1984) the genotype was (NC). Eight treatments were used T1: 100 % NPK as mineral fertilizer (60 kg N , 45 kg P2 O5 and 50 kg K2O) as control ,T2: 20 m3/ fed rouba, T3:30 m 3/ fed rouba, T4: 20 m3/ fed + 4 ton / fed natural rocks ,T5: 30 m3/fad rouba + 4 ton / fed natural rocks rouba ,T6: 4ton / fed natural mineral rocks + 400g / fed bio fertilizer, T7: 20 m3/ fad rouba + 4ton / fed natural rocks + 400g / fed biofertilizer), T8: 30 m3/ fad rouba + 4 ton / fed natural rocks+ 400g / fed biofertilizers. The data indicated that use of 30m3/ fed rouba+ 4ton / fed natural rocks + 400g / fed biofertilizer surpassed in most of characters under study especially no. of nodule / plant, dry weight / plant, pod yield g / plant, seed yield g / plant, seed index, shelling %, oil and protein percentage in seed. Using rouba and natural rocks and biofertilizer improve productivity and quality of peanut and preserves soil and environment from pollution caused by using chemical fertilizers
