Postoperative helmet In our study the use of internal helmet technique in correction of sagittal synostosis in children below 6 months old gave a good cosmetic results, and this technique is the first time to be applied and has been applied by professor doctor Khalid Bassim in neurosurgery pediatric unit in Cairo University with the following advantages: Short surgery time which reduces surgery risks like bleeding during surgery and also anaesthesia risks specially in children which are more liable to risks, Small wound which reduces post operative wound complications, No much blood loss, Immediate good cosmetic results after surgery which make this technique is superior to others, No need to use external devices which reduces the cost, family load and child suffering and No need for long term follow up. Although there is partial decline in CI for some cases still this technique is acceptable compared to other minimally invasive CVR procedures
