This thesis deals with the formulation of the problem of optimization and develops the equality and inequality constraints that the solution must satisfy to have a reliable and economical feeding power system.The Solving Tool is 2HOMER" software. To verify the procedure, it is applied on a selected project at Upper Egypt. Twelve HESs{u2019}configuration are proposed to supply the demand and the results have been discussed
