Congenital knee dislocation (CDK) is a disease consider as positional contraction leading to knee dislocation. Structural component include quadriceps tendon contracture causing anterior subluxation of hamstring tendon and tight of collateral ligament that described as hyperextension knee at birth as sole of the foot directed to the patient face. It can occur isolated or with other musculoskeletal anomaly as (myelomeningiocele and arthrogryposis), often associated with development dysplasia of hip, clubfoot and metatarsal adducts. There is several classification are describe the condition, Tarek classification is the most popular and more used that describe CDK in 3 grade according to the degree of dislocation. Clinical and radiological assessment is important to determine the site of deformity and its degrees.
