Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Nursing - Department of Nursing Services Administration Summary: Background: Entrepreneurship is a major factor in economic development and the entrepreneur is the key to economic growth (Ahmed, Chandran, Klobas, Liñán, &Kokkalis, 2020). Aim of the Study; the aim of this study was to examine the effect of entrepreneurship training program on nursing interns' awareness, and entrepreneurial intention. Research design; Quasi-experimental design was utilized to conduct the training program for nursing interns. Setting; this study was conducted at Faculty of Nursing, Cairo University. Subjects;A convenient sample of nursing interns, sample size was 168 in pretest, 162 in posttest, 150 participant in follow up test. Tools;two developed tools: the first was entrepreneurship awareness questionnaire, the second tool was nursing interns' entrepreneurial intention questionnaire.Results;the findings of the present study concluded that there was a highly significant statistical effect of entrepreneurship training program on participants{u2019} awareness(f=21.051, p=.000), But there was insignificant statistical difference in participants{u2019} entrepreneurial intention between the different data collection phases (f=1.224, p=.06). Conclusion; based on the study findings the first research hypothesis was approved and the second hypothesis was rejected. Recommendations;providing training programs and workshops about entrepreneurship specifically in health care sector
