Pregnant rats (albino Rats) were administrated during gestation period (5th{u2013} 20th) with therapeutic dose 10 mg/kg according to (Wang et al., 2016). At 20th gestation day, the dams were weighed, sacrificed and the laparotomy process was performed with exposure of the uterine horns. The uteri from each female were removed, weighted and opened using a scissor and then the fetuses were separated.Numbers of implantation sites and viable, dead and resorbed fetuses were calculated and mortality rate, growth parameters, morphological and skeletal malformation as well as histological study were observed. The results revealed a significant decrease in the growth parameters in treated animals.Hematomas were noticed in the fetuses of treated group. Skeletal abnormalities included ribs anomalies, weak ossification of the skull bones roof and bones formed girdles and limbs. Our histopathological study showed that Montelukast cause histopathological changes on both fetal & mother liver and brain as well as placenta of albino rats.Depend on the previous hazard effect of Montelukast on pregnancy it is highly recommended that the ASTHMA pregnant women avoiding administrating Montelukast during the pregnant period
