Recently, the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) has galned increaslng attention as a source of persistent or newly developed low back pain. Diagnostic block injection of local anesthetic is considered as a gold standard procedure along with clinical provocative tests ln diagnosis of sacroillac joint pain.Steroid fnjection efther intra-articular or perfarticular has been long used in treatment of sacroiliac joint pain that falled to improve with conservative management, yet sacroiliac Jolnt lateral branch radiofrequency denervation is considered as a more durable alternatfve interventlon for steroid injection. Objectives: -comparlson ofsacrollfac joint pain relief using Numeric ratfng score after intra-articular steroid lnjection and radiofrequency denervation of lateral branches. comparlson of improved functions, daily activities and general satisfactfon of patients after both intervention modalities
