Natural products are considered as the most consistently successful source of drug leads. Morus species (Moraceae) is a highly invaluable edible plant that is widely cultivated around the world their leaves are the main food for silkworms, while their fruits are well-known as mulberry in normal diets, particularly, M. alba L. and M. nigra L. Previous chemical investigations of several Morus leaves and fruits revealed their richness in bioactive compounds.Morus species was accompanied by the increased antioxidant potential, which can provide therapeutic efficacy in diseases associated with elevated oxidative stress.Morus macroura Miq. is popular edible species in the Morus family. However, its therapeutic potential has not yet been explored sufficiently in comparison with other species like Morus. alba L. and Morus. nigra L. the study also touched upon Citrus nobilis Lour {u00D7} Citrus deliciosa Tenora (Rutaceae) known as {u2018}Kinnow{u2019} mandarin, is a promising source of multiple beneficial nutrients for human beings, moreover its potential nutraceutical resources and health promoting values have been revealed in several studies. Later on, several biological activities were reported viz. antioxidant, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic actions
