Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering Summary: One of the most important problems that the Egyptian government is trying to solve is the shortage in the middle-income housing sector, the government has constructed several projects after 2011 but high inflation rates after the Egyptian currency floating crisis has affected the middle-income sectors affordability, the government tried to solve this problem using the cost cutting technique which has affected the quality of the projects and that was reflected negatively on its sales. The aim of this study is to create a computerized methodology in the design stage that is targeting the life cycle value (effectiveness) and can help us avoid the problems found in the middle-income housing projects built in the new cities while planning new projects in order to increase the satisfactions of the users{u2019} categories of the housing projects in Egypt with the lowest possible cost by determining and avoiding any unnecessary costs

One of the most important problems that the Egyptian government is trying to solve is the shortage in the middle-income housing sector, the government has constructed several projects after 2011 but high inflation rates after the Egyptian currency floating crisis has affected the middle-income sectors affordability, the government tried to solve this problem using the cost cutting technique which has affected the quality of the projects and that was reflected negatively on its sales.
