Dissertation note: Thesis (Ph.D.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Graduate Studies for Statistical Research - Department of Statistical Quallity Control and Quallity Assurance Summary: Due to the increasing role of intellectual capital in the knowledge economy and its effective impact on the performance of companies and organizations, and since intangible assets are not visible in the book values and financial statements of companies.Therefore, the purpose of this study was to define the relationship between the concept of intellectual capital and the performance of telecommunications companies in Egypt, as well as to lay down a specific framework for the relationship between the dimensions of intellectual capital, which include human capital, relationship capital, and structural capital, and between the performance of telecommunications companies Egypt.Intellectual capital was measured through three dimensions of human, relational and structural capital through a questionnaire submitted to the branch managers in the four telecommunications companies (Vodafone{u2013} Etisalat Egypt - Orange -Telecom Egypt) as well the financial secondary data of the companies.The performance of companies was measured through the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) dimensions that include the financial dimension, customers, operations,learning and growth through questionnaire and financial statements.The researcher used the Pearson correlation coefficient to study correlation relationship between intellectual capital and its dimensions and the performance of telecommunications companies in Egypt
