The purpose: to detect the efficiency of the warm whirlpool on the endothelium function in peripheral arterial insufficiency (PAI). Subjects and Methods: forty subjects of both sexes from 40 to 55 years old and BMI between 25 & 34.9 kg/m2 were included and divided randomly into two equal groups, group (A) received warm whirlpool bath and supervised treadmill sessions, group (B) received the supervised treadmill sessions only. The groups received their treatment three times per week for 12 weeks. the Data was assessed from groups pre-and post-treatment [nitric oxide blood analysis (NO), maximum walking time (MWT), and intermittent claudication questionnaire (ICQ)] were analysed statistically and compared. The NO and MWT increased significantly, while ICQ % was decreased from pre- to post-treatment in both groups. In comparing the two groups post treatment; there was an increase in MWT, while the ICQ % was decreased; but there was no significant difference in NO. The conclusion: the warm whirlpool has improvement effect on the endothelial function in PAI patients
