  • تحريكٌ العصب السنخى السفلى مع وضع الغرسات السنية مقارنة بوضع غرسات سنية قصيرة : تجربة سريرية عشوائية [Added title page title]

  • Issued also as CD
Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Department of Prosthodontics Summary: Aim of the study was: Assessment the long term stability of short dental implants in comparison to standard implants inserted simultaneously with inferior alveolar nerve lateralization. Study question was: Does the short implants offer better results than inferior alveolar nerve lateralization with standard implant placement regarding primary stability and marginal bone loss? Methodology : Implants were inserted and stability was measured by Osstell immediately and 6 months post-operative.CBCT was taken immediately after implants placement and 6 month's post-operative to measure marginal bone loss around the implants.Result: There is no significant difference between using short dental implants or inferior alveolar nerve lateralization with simultaneous implant placement. Conclusion: Using short dental implants can be considered a good treatment option for treatment of posterior atrophic mandible
