Purpose: The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of forward head posture (FHP) and thoracic kyphosis on cervical range of motion (ROM) in young subjects. Subjects and Methods: 120 subjects were divided into four equal groups (A, B, C and D) of both sex (males and females) with an age range from 18 to 30 years. They were assessed for the cervical ROM of flexion, extension, side bending and rotation. Group (A) included FHP subjects (with craniovertebral angle (CVA) less than 49 degrees, group (B) included subjects with thoracic kyphosis (with flexicurve angle more than 45 degrees), group (C) included subjects with FHP (with CVA less than 49 degrees) and thoracic kyphosis (with flexicurve angle more than 45 degrees) while group (D) included normal subjects (control group). Results: The study results found that per group comparison between each study groups with the other and between the study groups and the control groups, there was a statistically significant decrease in each subject group compared with normal group and statistically significant decrease in subject with forward head and thoracic kyphosis compared with the subject with forward head or thoracic kyphosis. Conclusion: The subjects who had FHP only or thoracic kyphosis only or who had both FHP and thoracic kyphosis had a significant decrease on cervical range of motion especially when compared with normal subjects
