The study was conducted on 90 consecutive adult patients admitted to the ELMOKATTAM health insurance hospital because of acute severe COVID-19 infection. The primary outcome is to assess the incidence of right Ventricle dilatation and systolic dysfunction in severe Covid-19 patients and correlation of right ventricular dilatation and systolic dysfunction and in-hospital outcome. RV dilation was prevalent in the current study of hospitalized patients and RV dilatation was independently associated with in-hospital mortality in the current study
