Patients with body mass index {u2265}30 kg/m2 are known to be obese (Perreault, 2018). Recently, there is increasing recognition of "normal weight individuals" (those who have normal BMI and waist circumference but increased visceral adiposity) (Litwin, 2012). Pericardial fat includes both epicardial (located within the pericardium) and paracardial fat (located superficial to the pericardium) (Sacks et al., 2007). Recently, interest has focused on the imaging of epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) and pericardial adipose tissue (PAT) as a proxy measure of visceral adiposity
