Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Physical Therapy - Department of Physical Therapy for Gynecology and Obstetrics Summary: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of aerobic exercises on leucocytes in obese polycystic ovarian women. Thirty volunteer obese women diagnosed with PCOS participated in this study, their age ranged between 25 to 35 years old . They were selected from the Outpatient Clinic of Hush-Issa Central Hospital. They were assigned randomly into two groups(A&B) equal in numbers: Group (A) : performed aerobic exercise program on treadmill three times per week for 6consecutive weeks in addition to hypocaloric diet program, and Group (B): followed the same hypocaloric diet program only prescribed for group (A). Evaluations for both groups (A&B) were carried out before and after 6 weeks through measuring body weight, body mass index, waist-hip ratio, Leucocytes, C-reactive protein, and tumor necrosis factor-Ü. The results of this study showed a statistically significant decrease (P<0.001) in weight, body mass index, waist-hip ratio in both groups (A&B) after the treatment program. Also, there was significant decrease in leucocytes, C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor-Ü in group (A) (P<0.001) with no significant effect in group (B) (P>0.05) after the end of the treatment program
