The total calculated cost saved from the refinery's energy-saving study was 1,537,206.38 $/year. A system for improving and monitoring units using live plant data has been developed. The seven exergy studies aim to calculate the destructive energy of the units, and these new studies represent a new source of hope for future energy savings
