The present work has been established to investigate the flame characteristics in step swirler combustor of laboratory - scaleExperiments are performed to reveal the differences in flame structure by changing the inner , middle and outer swirl angle , direction , fuel and air admission configurations Stationery curved vane swirler is located near the exit of the air passagesTest conditions are chosen to compare : (i) Co - versus counter swirl configuration (ii) The degree of swirl angle , which is equal for inner and outer air jet streams
