<br/><br/> Between April 2004 and February 2008 , sixty patients with locally advanced head and neek cancer stages III and IV (including nasopharynx , oropharynx , oral cavity and larynx) were recruited in this trial.The adopted protocol included the use of 2 cycles of neodajuvant chemotherapy gemcitabine 1000mg / m2 and cisplatin 70mg / m2 every 3 weeks
