N2  - Keratomycosis, or fungal keratitis, is a potentially serious consequence that can result in visual abnormalities or even blindness if treatment is delayed.  STZN isan imidazole antifungal drug that effectively treats Candida albicans infections and some species ofFusarium and Aspergillus. LP was chosen as a potential nanocarrier for enhancing the corneal penetration and deposition of STZN, as the presence of a positive charge facilitates vesicle adhesion onto the negatively charged sialic acid moieties found in the mucus membrane on the corneal surface, resulting in higher corneal retention, minimizing drug elimination by lachrymal flow and improves the transcorneal flux. Also, the apparent advantage of small PS is that it creates a large contact surface with the ocular surface, allowing enhanced corneal absorption; يعتبر الاصابة بفطريات قرنية العين، أو التهاب القرنية الفطري ، نتيجة خطيرة محتملة يمكن أن تؤدي إلى تشوهات بصرية أو حتى العمى إذا تأخر العلاج. نترات سيرتاكونازول (STZN) هو دواء مضاد للفطريات فعال للغاية في علاج عدوى Fusarium sppو Candida spp و  Aspergillus spp. تم اختيار LP كحامل نانوي محتمل لتعزيز اختراق القرنية لSTZN حيث أن وجود شحنة موجبة يسهل التصاق الحويصلة على شقوق حمض السياليك سالبة الشحنة الموجودة في الغشاء المخاطي على سطح القرنية ، مما يؤدي إلى ارتفاع احتباس القرنية ، وتقليل ازالة الادوية عن طريق التدفق الدمعي ويحسن التدفق عبر القرنية. أيضًا ، تتمثل الميزة الواضحة لحجم الجسيمات الصغير في أنها تخلق سطح تلامس كبير مع سطح العين ، مما يسمح بامتصاص القرنية المعزز
