The walking exercises have significant effect in reducing multiple sclerosis related- fatigue. Aim: To evaluate the effect of walking exercises on fatigue among patients with multiple sclerosis. Design: Nonequivalent control group time series quasi-experimental design was utilized. Sample: A convenient sample of 60 adult male and female patients with relapse remitting multiple sclerosis was recruited along12 weeks. Tools: Four tools were utilized to collect data: (a) Semi-Structured Interview Questionnaire, (b) Fatigue Severity Scale (c) The Expanded Disability Status Scale, (d) The Beck Depression Inventory-II scale. Results: In relation to the total mean scores of fatigue severity scale, there was high statistically significant difference between the study and control groups after 6weeks of implementing treadmill walking exercise( t=5.367 & p=0.0001) and after12 weeks of implementing treadmill walking exercise (t=8.931& p=0.0001). Moreover, 50 % of the study group had no fatigue after 6 weeks of treadmill walking exercise compared to 76.70 % of them after 12 weeks. Conclusion: Treadmill walking exercise was effective in reducing fatigue severity level among patients with multiple sclerosis; UR - http://172.23.153.220/th.pdf ER -
