and the extent of the development of the role of local government in the country
since 1992. A different attempt in terms of the way it deals with the attempts and
efforts of local government in the country and the extent to which it achieves the
projects and goals it seeks. According to local laws, the study also tracks the
extent of the success of local government in achieving its projects and
development plans in the country and the relationship between it and
centralization, as well as identifying the importance of activating the role of local
government in the Ghanaian system through a number of proposals made by the
researcher
