The importance of the study stems from revealing the nature of the US role in Libya since 2011, and the degree of its impact on political transformations and stability there, such a topic has not been adequately addressed. By analyzing the impact of the US’s low engagement strategy or approach on the crippling the political transitions in Libya. Its importance also stems from addressing the impact of the internal situation in Libya in expanding the external influence at home and its impact on political transformations, as a new and rich theoretical and practical case
