N2  - تناولت هذه الأطروحة أبرز الجهود اللغوية لدى الدكتور عبد الرحمن أيوب؛ وذلك من خلال استقراء أهم مؤلفاته ومترجماته، واستخلاص القضايا التي تطرحها، واستجلاء أبرز مواقفه العلمية من: مبادئ التفكير اللغوي العربي، وظاهرة التطور اللغوي، ودراسة اللهجات، وبيان مدى تأثره في معالجته هذه القضايا باتجاهات التفكير اللغوي التي كانت سائدة في عصره، ومن ثَمَّ إبراز ملامح المنهج الذي تبناه في التحليل اللغوي. وقد اعتمدت هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي; This thesis deals with the most prominent linguistic efforts Dr. Abdul-Rahman Ayoub. this is done through surveying his most important publications and translated works and extracting the issues they are raising as well as deducting Dr.Ayoub’s scientific attitudes towards the Arabic linguistic thinking, the linguistic development and the study of dialects in addition to clarify to what extent he was affected in the attitudes he adopted when he treated these issues by the trends Of the linguistic thinking which dominated in his time, hence displaying the features of the formal method in the analysis Dr.Ayyoub adopted. and this study depended on the analytical discreptional method
