N2  -    تتناول هذه الدراسة تاريخ العامة في مصر في الفترة الممتدة من منتصف القرن التاسع عشر وحتى قيام الحرب العالمية الأولى (1848م- 1914م). تتضمن الدراسة التعريف بالعامة وتتبع الدور الاقتصادي الذي قام به العامة في بناء الاقتصاد الوطني؛ باعتبارهم قاعدة الهرم الاجتماعي وقوة العمل الرئيسية التي خرج منها العمال لتنفيذ المشروعات الكبرى على أرض الواقع في مختلف قطاعات الدولة، وأهم المهن والوظائف التي انخرطوا فيها وتنظيم الدولة لهم والضرائب المفروضة عليهم وموقفهم منها. بالإضافة إلى ذلك تتضمن الدراسة أيضا بحث الحالة الثقافية للعامة وحضورهم في مؤسسات التعليم الرسمية وغير الرسمية، وسياسة الدولة التعليمية بصفة عامة تجاههم، كما تشتمل الدراسة على وصف تفصيلي لعادات وتقاليد العامة ودورها في استقرار حياتهم. قامت الدراسة أيضا بتقصي عوامل الانحراف الاجتماعي لدى بعض أفراد العامة، وأهم صور تلك الانحرافات مع عرض نماذج لها وموقف الدولة حيالها;   This study examines the history of the general public in Egypt from the mid-nineteenth century until the First World War (1848- 1914); The study defines the general and tracks the economic role played by the public in building the national economy; as the base of the social pyramid and the main workforce from which workers have come out to implement major projects on the ground in various sectors of the State, the most important professions and jobs in which they have been engaged, the organization of the State for them and the taxes imposed on them and their attitude towards them. In addition, the study also includes the cultural situation of the public, their presence in formal and informal educational institutions, the State's general educational policy towards them, and the presentation of some accounts of popular history and their significance. The study also includes a detailed description of the customs and traditions of the public and their role in the stability of their lives. The study also investigated the social delinquency factors of some members of the public, the most important portrayal of those deviations with examples of them and the state's attitude towards them
