N2  -    سعت هذه الرسالة لتقديم قراءة نقدية لمجمل أعمال الناقد الدكتور عبد المحسن طه بدر، مراعيةً الترتيب التاريخي لصدور هذه الكتابات. وتناولت ذلك من خلال فحص كتاباته النقدية وتحديد أهم المفاهيم التي سيطرت عليها، ومن ثم تحديد دلالتها وخصوصيتها والعلاقات التي تربط بينها؛ بهدف الوصول إلى تصوراته النقدية الخاصة، ومنطلقاته المنهجية، وجذوره الفكرية والثقافية، وأيضًا الوصول إلى آليات وأدوات تحليله للنصوص الشعرية ونقده للنصوص الروائية، ورصد الوظيفة التي يؤديها هذان النوعان خاصة والأدبُ بشكل عام في رأيه؛ لوضع خطابه في مكانه بين الخطابات النقدية المعاصرة له، وللوقوف على حقيقة نقده الذي صُنِّف بوصفه واقعيًّا تارة، واجتماعيًّا تارة أخرى، ولم يتنبه أحد للأدوات المتعددة التي استخدمها في قراءاته النقدية، والتي كان فيها إفادة واضحة من نتائج الدراسات النفسية للأدب، بجانب عنايته الكبيرة بتاريخ الأدب. واستعانت الدراسة في ذلك بأدوات نقد النقد؛ بوصفه ممارسة تبتغي وضعَ الخطابات النقدية موضعَ المساءلة والفحص والمراجعة، للكشف عن العلاقات التي تربط بين عناصرها، والوظائف التي قامت بها تلك الخطاباتُ في سياقاتها الثقافية والاجتماعية; This work is a meta-critical study of the work of Abdul Mohsen Taha Badr, a significant pioneer of modern Arabic literary criticism. It considers the temporal publishing order of his works. The study investigates Badr's critical writings, specifying and interpreting his dominant concepts and their interrelations, so as to show his own critical visions, methodological premises, and intellectual and cultural roots. The study tries to determine Badr's analytical and critical tools and techniques of poetic and novelistic texts, observing his view of the function of literature in general and of these two literary genres in particular. In addition, this study highlights Badr's criticism, which was classified as realistic and social critique, but ignores both his great interest in literature history as well as the multiple tools he used in his critical works – and according to psychological studies of literature, there was a clear benefit of incorporating these tools. Meta- criticism aims to put critical discourses in examination, reveals the relationships that link their elements, and explains the functions that these discourses performed in their cultural and social contexts
