وتهدف إلى دراسة وتحليل الوثائق التي تنتجها الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية في إقليم القاهرة الكبرى، والتعرف على أنماطها، ودراسة وتحليل العمليات الفنية الحالية لوثائق الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية، وتقديم مقترح لتطبيق أسس وقواعد معايير الأيزو لإقامة نظام إداري جيد للجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية، وتم تجريب نظام Openkm على نماذج من وثائق الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية، وتبين مدى سهولة استخدامه، وإمكان تطبيقه على وثائق الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية لضبطها وإتاحتها للمستخدمين والباحثين.
تتمثل حدود الدراسة في إدارة الوثائق بالجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية في إقليم القاهرة الكبرى، وتعتمد الدراسة على منهج دراسة الحالة لدراسة أنماط وأشكال وثائق الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية، وأساليب الحفظ والاسترجاع للوثائق الورقية والإلكترونية بالجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية العاملة في مجال الرعاية الاجتماعية، وتقديم مقترح لخطة التصنيف والوصف الأرشيفى للوثائق تعكس التقسيمات الفعلية لملفات الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية باستخدام أدوات جمع البيانات المناسبة للدراسة منها: المقابلة المقننة المعتمدة على قائمة المراجعة
