<br/><br/> Purpose: The present study was designed to assess the effect of micro current <br/>electrical stimulation on microcirculation of chronic leg venous ulcers. Method: <br/>Thirty patients (17 males and 13 females) diagnosed clinically by the same <br/>physician as chronic venous leg ulcers grade II more than three months. Their <br/>age ranged from 40 to 50 years. They were assigned into two groups (A, B) <br/>equal in numbers. Group A received 60 minutes of microcurrent electrical <br/>neuromuscular stimulation in addition to standard medical care (medical <br/>treatment and regular dressing),three times weekly for four weeks, While, group <br/>B received only standard medical care (medical treatment and regular dressing), <br/>three times weekly for four weeks. Chronic leg ulcers circulation was evaluated <br/>by duplex ultrasound assessment before and after 4 weeks. Results: The results <br/>of this study revealed that the improvement was statistically significant among <br/>cases of group (A) when compared with its corresponding value in group (B). <br/>Conclusion: It could be concluded that microcurrent electrical stimulation was <br/>effective method in improving microcirculation of chronic leg ulcers.   أجريت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة تأثير التحفيز الكهربائي بالموجات الدقيقة على الدورة الدموية الدقيقة لقرحة الساق المزمنة، حيث شارك في هذه الدراسة ٣٠ مريض من الإناث والذكور ،وتم تقسيمهم الى مجموعتين متساويتين في العدد . <br/>•	المجموعة الأولى تلقوا العلاج بإستخدام 60 دقيقة من التحفيز الكهربائي بالموجات الدقيقة 3 مرات فى الأسبوع بالإضافة إلى العناية الطبية (الدواء العلاجي ، الغيارات الطبية)،لمده 4 اسابيع .<br/>•	أما المجموعة الثانية تلقوا العناية الطبية فقط (الدواء العلاجي ، الغيارات الطبية) 3 مرات فى الأسبوع، لمدة 4 أسابيع.<br/>وقد تم تقييم الدورة الدموية في الساق باستخدام الموجات فوق الصوتية المزدوجة قبل وبعد العلاج تم تقييم قبل العلاج و بعده ب 4 اسىابيع.<br/>قد أوضحت نتائج هذه الدراسة:  أن التحسن كان ذو دلالة إحصائية بين حالات المجموعة (أ) بالمقارنة مع قيمته المقابلة في المجموعة (ب).يمكن الاستنتاج أن التحفيز الكهربائي بالموجات الدقيقة كان طريقة فعالة في تحسين الدورة الدموية لقرحة الساق المزمنة.
