<br/><br/> Endocarditis complicating central venous catheter bloodstream infection (CVC-BSI) is a serious complication and is being seen with increasing frequency. To the best of our knowledge, there are no data from Egyptian studies to establish the incidence and outcome of CVL-associated IE. Accordingly, this work aimed to detect the incidence and outcome of CVL-IE among a group of Egyptian children population.  يُعد التهاب بطانه القلب الجرثومي الذي يزيد من تعقيد عدوى مجرى الدم بالقسطرة الوريدية المركزية من المضاعفات الخطيرة ويتزايد تكرارها. على حد علمنا ، لا توجد بيانات من الدراسات المصرية لتحديد مدى حدوث ونتائج التهاب بطانه القلب الجرثومي المرتبط بالقسطرة الوريدية المركزية. وفقًا لذلك ، يهدف هذا العمل إلى الكشف عن حدوث ونتائج عدوي القسطره الوريديه المركزيه المسببه لالتهاب بطانه القلب الجرثومي بين مجموعة من الأطفال المصريين.
