<br/><br/>      تلعب الصحافة دوراً هاماً في إعلام الجمهور بالقضايا المثارة في اطار العلاقات الدولية وأثر الأحداث المحلية والعالمية علي تلك العلاقات فضلاً عن التعريف بالمصالح المشتركة التي تجمع بين دولتين، هذا بالإضافة إلى موقف الدول المختلفة من القضايا التي تشغل الرأي العام المحلي والعالمي. وتعتبر العلاقات المصرية الامريكية من أهم العلاقات الدولية لما تتمتع به من خصوصية شديدة تنبع من حجم المصالح المشتركة والتشابكات المختلفة التي تربط بينهما وتجعل هناك اطار واضح تتحرك فية تلك العلاقات، كما تضع سقفاً محدداً لمدى وحدود التباينات والاختلافات في المواقف بينهما بحيث لا تصل إلي مستوي الصدام أو القطيعة.<br/>     وتعتبر قضايا السياسة الخارجية والعلاقات الدولية، وأهمها العلاقات المصرية الأمريكية، من القضايا التى تتصدر  قمة أولويات الصحف المصرية نظراً لنوعيتها ذات الملامح المتميزة والدور المهم الذي تلعبه. وتستمد هذه الدراسة أهميتها من أهمية الدور الذي قامت به الصحافة المصرية كشاهد على تطورات العلاقات المصرية الأمريكية في السنوات الأخيرة، وتحديد مدى نجاح الإعلام المصري في تشكيل صورة الدول الخارجية لدى الجمهور من خلال مايقوم به من المعالجة الإعلامية.<br/>     وتكمن مشكلة الدراسة في رصد وتفسير وتحليل أطر معالجة المواقع الإخبارية للصحف المصرية للعلاقات المصرية الأمريكية بالتطبيق على المواقع الإلكترونية للصحف المصرية المتمثلة في صحف (الأهرام، المصري اليوم، والوفد) خلال الفترة من بداية نوفمبر 2021 إلي نهاية يونيو 2023 والتى تناولت العلاقات المصرية الأمريكية وذلك من خلال رصد الحقائق والتفسيرات التي أبرزتها صحف الدراسة أثناء معالجتها للعلاقات المصرية الأمريكية، ودورها في تشكيل صورة الولايات المتحدة لدى عينة من الجمهور المصري، قوامها 400 مفردة تم التركيز فيها على الشباب الجامعي وإعلاميين وأكاديميين كعينة عمدية من قراء واحدة على الأقل من المواقع الإخبارية للصحف محل الدراسة، ومن المهتمين بمتابعة العلاقات المصرية الأمريكية وتطوراتها.<br/>  The study emphasizes the media's crucial role in informing the public about international relations and the impact of local and global events on the relationships between countries.<br/>     It also aims to familiarize the public with the common interests that unite two countries, as well as the different positions adopted by various states on issues of local and global concern. Specifically, it highlights the significance of Egyptian-American relations and the intricate nature of their shared interests and connections, thereby providing a clear framework within which these relations operate. <br/>     Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of Egyptian media, particularly newspapers' websites, in shaping public perceptions and an image about foreign countries, particularly in the context of recent developments in Egyptian-American relations. <br/>     The study's problem lies in the analysis and interpretation of how Egyptian newspapers, through their news websites, covered Egyptian-American relations during a specified period from November 2021 until June 2023, and the role they played in shaping the public's perception of the United States. <br/>     The study's findings underscore the predominance of news stories that address the topic as a political issue, despite its various other dimensions such as economic, cultural, and social aspects. <br/>     Additionally, the study reveals that a significant portion of the study's sample from the Egyptian public relies on news websites as a trusted and important source of information. <br/>     Overall, the study highlights the impact of media on public perceptions and emphasizes the influence of news coverage on shaping a mental image of the United States among a sample of the Egyptian public.<br/>     The media image that was highlighted by the newspapers' websites about Egyptian-American relations was characterized during the study period by fruitful cooperation in several fields, leading to a positive mental image that was formed among the study sample during that period, as "cooperation between the two countries" came to the forefront of attention for both newspapers and the public.<br/>
