<br/><br/> Thirty child with hemiparetic cerebral palsy of both genders, were randomized into two equal groups (n=30), control group (A) and study group (B). The range of motion both groups was measured by a digital goniometer and muscle strength was measured using a Lafayette handheld dynamometer. Group A received daily physical therapy program while group B received the same physical therapy program as group A for half an hour in addition to whole body vibration for half an hour. Whole body vibration therapy improved the shoulder flexion, elbow extension, and forearm supination range of motion and the shoulder abduction, wrist flexion and extension strength in children with hemiparetic cerebral palsy.   شارك في الدراسة 30 طفلاً مصاباً بالشلل الدماغي النصفي من كلا الجنسين،.  تم اختيارهم بصورة عشوائية الأطفال إلى مجموعتين متساويتين (30)، المجموعة الضابطة (أ) ومجموعة الدراسة (ب).  تم قياس نطاق الحركة لكلا المجموعتين بواسطة مقياس الزوايا الرقمي وتم قياس قوة العضلات باستخدام مقياس قوة لافاييت المحمول.  تلقت المجموعة (أ) برنامج علاج طبيعي يومي بينما تلقت المجموعة (ب) نفس برنامج العلاج الطبيعي مثل المجموعة (أ) لمدة نصف ساعة بالإضافة إلى اهتزاز الجسم بالكامل لمدة نصف ساعة.  النتيجة: فيما يتعلق بمجموعة الدراسة، وجدت دلالة إحصائية في مدى حركة ثني الكتف، وتمديد المرفق، واستلقاء الساعد.  بينما من ناحية أخرى توجد دلالة إحصائية في القوة العضلية لإبعاد الكتف وثني الرسغ.  الاستنتاج: أدى العلاج بالاهتزاز لكامل الجسم إلى تحسين ثني الكتف وتمديد المرفق ومدى حركة استلقاء الساعد وإبعاد الكتف وثني الرسغ وقوة التمديد لدى الأطفال المصابين بالشلل الدماغي النصفي.
