<br/><br/> This study assesses walkability in Borg Rasheed, one of Egypt's Nile Delta marginalized and vulnerable rural settlements. The study assesses walkability while addressing the social challenges that women encounter in their daily trips in the context of their sense of insecurity. Additionally, it examines how climate change may affect infrastructure, urban mobility and accessibility by 2050, 2100 in Borg Rasheed. The walking environment was examined using the Neighborhood Environment Walkability Scale (NEWS) survey. The counting method was used to explore the daily travel patterns. The methods were conducted through structured site visits and observations. The result comprises an assessment of the built environment and the challenges of pedestrians. Through mapping, the study anticipates at least 23% of pedestrians, motor vehicles, and bicycle current users will lose their designated spaces by 2050 due to rising sea level. Recommendations to enhance walkability to mitigate climate change and empower women are provided.  تناولت هذه الدراسة تقييم القدرة على التنقل سيرا في برج رشيد", إحدى المدن الساحلية بمصر. وتناولت تحديدا كيفية دعم التنقل سيرا للمرأة ببرج رشيد من خلال التخطيط والتصميم. كما تناولت كيفية مواجهة التغير المناخى من خلال دعم التنقل سيرا، وكذلك تحديد التأثيرات المتوقعة من ارتفاع منسوب البحر على البنية الأساسية والتنقل في السنوات المقبلة ٢٠٥٠ و٢١٠٠<br/> في إطار ذلك، تم تقييم البيئة المشيدة للمشاة عن طريق عدة أساليب منها: الملاحظات، الاستبيانات، القيام بالعد الممنهج للمشاة ووسائل المواصلات وذلك لتحديد أنماط الرحلات اليومية والفئات المختلفة من المستخدمين. توضح النتائج تقيم للبيئة العمرانية ومدى كفاءتها لتلبية احتياجات المشاة، وكذلك التحديات التي يواجها المشاة بها، وأيضا الاثار المترتبة على التعيير المناخي وارتفاع منسوب البحر على البنية الاساسية و التنقل والتى قد تؤثر على  تقريبا ٢٣٪ من المستخدمين و التى تم تحديدها من خلال عرض خرائط توضيحية للأعوام ٢٠٥٠ و ٢١٠٠. وأخيرا، تقديم توصيات لتحسين التنقل سيرا لمواجهة النغير المناخي وتمكين المرأة ببرج رشيد.
