<br/><br/> In this study, the behaviour of cold-formed steel overlapped purlin connection under monotonic loading is investigated. For this purpose, an experimental and numerical model has been developed in order to assess the behaviour of the purlin overlap connection. Three experimental tests have been conducted to obtain information on displacement and stresses, then the results were used to validate the numerical model developed using advanced finite element modelling. Cold formed steel Z-sections were used for the purlin.  في هذه الرسالة، تم دراسة سلوك وصلات المدادات من الصُلب المشكل على البارد تحت حمل ثابت. ولهذا الغرض، تم إعداد نموذج معملى وآخر رقمى لدراسة الوصلة. تم إجراء ثلاثة اختبارات معملية للحصول على معلومات حول الإزاحة والإجهادات، ومن ثم تم استخدام النتائج للتحقق من دقة النموذج الرقمي الذي تم تطويره باستخدام برنامج التحليل بطريقة العناصر المحددة. تم استخدام  قطاع  الصلب المشكلة على البارد ذات الشكل Z  في المدادات.
