N2  - The present study included 60 consecutive patients who presented to pediatric Hepatology Clinic, New Children Hospital, Cairo University, suffering from cholestasis Among these patients 30 patients spore free honey and olive oil were added to their treatment (study group) and another 30 patients who their treatment did not include honey and olive oil (control group).Both groups were followed up for clinical and nutritional outcomes. We found complete resolution of jaundice and growth improvement in the study group compared to the control group; شملت الدراسة الحالية 60 مريضًا متتاليًا راجعوا عيادة أمراض الكبد لدى الأطفال، مستشفى الأطفال الجديد، جامعة القاهرة، يعانون من ركود صفراوي. ومن بين هؤلاء المرضى، تمت إضافة 30 مريضًا بعسل  النحل وزيت الزيتون إلى علاجهم (مجموعة الدراسة) و30 مريضًا آخرين تم علاجهم.ولم يشمل العلاج العسل وزيت الزيتون (المجموعة الضابطة). وتمت متابعة كلا المجموعتين للحصول على النتائج الاكلينيكية والغذائية. لقد وجدنا اختفاء تام للصفراء وتحسنًا في النمو في مجموعة الدراسة مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة
