<br/><br/> Ant colony optimization (ACO) is a meta - heuristic which uses ideas from nature to find solutions to combinatorial optimization problems , The parameter settings of the ACO algorithm determine the behavior of each ant and are critical for fast convergence to near optimal solutions of a given problem instance , The parameter settings differ from one application to another and they also differ amongst different sizes of the sam application
