This study provides evidence that chronic hepatitis B and / or C have an impact on the histopathological outcome of liver disease in pediatric cancer survivors which may lead to progression of liver diease in patients . Some chemotherapeutic agents are hepatotoxic inducing recurrent hepatitis flares in cancer patients infected with viral hepatitis contributing to liver dysfunction and liver cirrhosis
