<br/><br/> Land management is very much concerned economically and environmentally with the exploitation of land resources Land administration is concerned with ownership , value and land use within the context of land management for both urban and agricultural areas Due to the revolution in information technology , the rapid population growth , migration to the town , efficient tool for land administration is needed especially in urban areas in Egypt Cadastre is the basic tool for land administration and land management in urban areas Unfortunately , the urban cadastre in Egypt is lacking the effectiveness and efficiency due to the status of manual urban mapping and the Egyptian land tenure system
