<br/><br/> This study was carried out to test the feasibility of isolating and culturing bone forming cell from adult mandibular bone biopsies and maintain the cultured cell on collagen scaffolds in vitro . In this study seven adult mongrel dogs were utilized . The animals were biopsied followed by initiation of the bone tissue culture process and seeding the resulting cell onto collagen sponges
