N2  - It is necessary to be familiar with the natural history and normal variation of children of vaious ages during growth . The initial evaluation should include a standing anteroposterior radiograph of the lower extermities . There are various methods for deformity correction as osteotomy which mostly needs fixation by plate and screw or external fixator as Ilizarov or TSF and hemiepiphyseodesis by staples screws or more recent 8 - plate and physeal distraction which does not require osteotomy
