Effective presentation of tumor antigens is fundamental to strategies aimed at enrolling the immune system in eradication of residual disease after conventional treatment Myeloid malignancies provide a unique opportunity to drive DCs functioning APCs from malignant cells themselves This study aimed at producing of DCs from AML blasts using IL - 4 and GM - CSF Sixteen cases out of 20 cases generated DCs from AML blasts using IL - 4 and GM - CSF with the highest change with IL - 4 The highest viability was with GM - CSF and the highest DCs count and morphologically differentiated DCs were with both cytokines
